Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if my child needs to use the bathroom?

We encourage you to make sure your child has used the bathroom prior to his or her dance class. However, in the event your child needs to use the facilities, we have plans in place. Children in the Early Dance and Pre-Primary RAD program will be escorted to the bathroom by an adult, either a dance teacher or administrator. Primary students and older will go to the bathroom with a partner.

Can I watch my child's dance class?

At Propel Dance Centre we want your child to be as successful as possible. Through our experience teaching, we have found that having family and friends watch their child's class can be very distracting for everyone. Therefore, we kindly ask for no peaking! At the end of every term we have a designated day for all care-givers to come watch, and celebrate their child's accomplishments. At the end of our Spring term, we offer a recital for family and friends.

How will I know what's going on in the classes?

In order to stay connected to us, with class updates and news, we recommend that you follow us on social media, as well and sign up for our mailing list. To do so, click the button!

Do I need to stay during the dance class?

Although you are more than welcome to stay in the building, it is not necessary. We will always have a teacher or administrator present who is certified in emergency first aid and CPR, and we have your contact information on location to reach you. Feel free to take the time to go for coffee, run errands, or whatever else you may want to do!

What if I need to reach you?

At the beginning of the term, we will give you a cell phone number that you may call if you are running late or if you need to contact us quickly.
